Rehearsals - The Singing Club

We divide the year into three terms for weekly practice:
Spring (Jan – Mar), Summer (Apr – Jul) and Autumn (Sept – Dec).
There is a half term break (usually one week) around the middle of each term.

If you’re interested please come along, have a listen and join in to see if it’s for you. New and prospective members benefit from two free ‘taster’ sessions.

Practice Venues

Tuesday 7.30-9.30pm – Singing Club, Usk meets at Usk Sessions House, Maryport St, Usk, NP15 1AD. There are several steps at the front entrance, however step-free access to the old courtroom, where rehearsals take place, is available via a ramp.

Wednesday 9.45-11.45am – Singing Club, ‘Wake-up Wednesday’ meets at Tidenham War Memorial Hall, Coleford Rd, Tutshill, NP16 7BN. (Near junction with Mopla Rd). Parking next to hall. Rehearsal space is on the ground floor level.

Wednesday 7.30-9.30pm – Singing Club, Duke’s Yard meets upstairs at Chepstow Athletics Club, Mathern Rd, Bulwark, NP16 5JT. Parking at front of Athletics Club or in adjacent car park in Mathern Rd. Wednesday rehearsal space is up one flight of stairs (there is no lift).

Thursday 7.30-9.30pm – Singing Club, Chepstow meets upstairs at Chepstow Athletics Club, Mathern Rd, Bulwark, NP16 5JT. Parking at front of Athletics Club or in adjacent car park in Mathern Rd. Thursday rehearsal space is on the ground floor.

Note that each Singing Club will have two weeks off in total this term, but they will fall in different months and each SC has a different pattern of breaks. Please note the following details carefully:
